Our 4G and IP intercoms use a MIRCO SIM.
We always recommend using one of our own SIM cards, as they’re designed specifically to work with our intercoms. However, if you’d prefer to use your own SIM, please make sure it has the following:
- Calls
- Texts – required for SMS alerts and when using one of our apps
- Data – only a small amount is needed if we’re programming your intercom remotely
- Marketing messages switched off – these can sometimes interfere with the intercom
- Voicemail turned off
If you’re choosing a PAYG SIM, pop it into a phone first to register it with the provider’s app, so you can easily top up when needed.
For the best performance with our 4G intercoms, we recommend using SIM cards from EE, Vodafone, or O2. These networks provide the most reliable coverage and call quality. While third-party MVNO SIMs may work, choosing a major provider gives you the most dependable experience.
