Our 2-Year Warranty – What’s Included?
At Commtel, we’re committed to supporting our customers for the long term. Our technical team is always on hand to guide installers and their customers – from the initial commissioning process right through the lifetime of the product.
Every Commtel product comes with a two-year return-to-manufacturer warranty. This covers internal parts and Commtel labour in the event of a manufacturing fault, plus programming support for a selection of our products.
If you’d like extra peace of mind, we also offer extended warranty and support packages. These can be tailored to suit you and your customers’ needs – from product-only cover, to full programming support, and even options that include SIM costs.

Standard Warranty
All Commtel intercoms come with a two-year return-to-manufacturer warranty, giving you peace of mind that your system is protected. This includes internal parts and Commtel labour in the unlikely event of a manufacturing fault.
For added convenience, we also provide programming support during this period – such as updating telephone numbers and entry codes – when requested via our programming request form.
Please note: programming support is not included with Optimus intercoms.

Vision Intercoms
With our Vision intercoms, your warranty goes a step further by also covering the Data SIM supplied and fitted in the video module of your system for two years, in line with the product warranty.
The SIM used in the audio module is not included, but to keep things simple, we offer a choice of pay-annually SIMs. These can be bundled with your initial warranty so that renewals are smooth and stress-free. Click here to explore our SIM packages.
All Commtel Command Units come with a two-year return-to-manufacturer warranty, giving you confidence that your system is fully protected. This includes internal parts and Commtel labour in the event of a manufacturing fault.
Programming support is not included with Command Units. However, if you’d like us to make changes for you, you can easily submit a request via our programming request form. Please note this service is chargeable – click here to view our programming charges.

All Optimus intercoms come with a two-year return-to-manufacturer warranty provided via your distributor. This covers internal parts and Commtel labour in the unlikely event of a manufacturing fault, giving you peace of mind from day one.
Programming support is not included with Optimus products. If you’d like us to make changes for you, simply submit a request using our programming request form. Please note this service is chargeable – click here for details of our programming charges.

Product Only Warranty
Our product-only warranty covers internal parts and Commtel labour in the event of a manufacturing fault, giving you reliable protection beyond the standard cover.
This warranty must be taken out consecutively from the end of the initial two-year period and is available exclusively to trade customers. Please note, this is a return-to-manufacturer warranty.
For complete peace of mind, you can pair this with one of our Support Agreements below to enjoy full cover and added reassurance.
Support Agreements
Our Support Agreements cover any programming support, like changing the telephone numbers and entry codes when requested via our programming request form here.
The number of changes per annum will be dependent on the level of cover purchased:
Support Level 1: 12 programming changes per year.
Support Level 2: 24 programming changes per year.
Support Level 3: 48 programming changes per year.
Support Premium: 120 programming changes per year.
Support Plus: Any of our pay-annually SIMs, plus one of the above support levels.
