Use the app’s easy-to-tap controls on your smartphone to send SMS commands and open your entrances. You can add as many Commtel systems as you need.

Note: You’ll need to work with your entry system installer to add your smartphone to the authorised list. You’ll also need the correct commands or have new commands created by your installer.

For multi-user sites, some commands – such as hold-open – may be restricted. In these cases, setting them in the app will not activate the function.

The Vision app allows you to view who is at your intercom and allow access at the touch of a button.

To maintain a high level of security and reliability, the audio and video feed are separate pathways. This means that when you are using the Commtel Vision app, you will receive both a normal voice call and a notification from the app.

When using the Commtel VISION app:
• Answer the audio call as normal and put the call on loudspeaker.
• Click on the app notification or open the Commtel VISION app to view the video feed.
• During the video call, select the green button if you would like to let your visitor in.
• Once you have pressed either the red or green button, the video feed will close and
the audio call will end automatically.

When using audio only:
• Answer the call as normal to speak to your visitor.
• Press ‘#’ on your phone’s keypad to let your visitor in or simply end the call if you do not wish to grant them access.
